It's been rather uneventful around the farm lately.
So far we have kept up with the garden and staying ahead of the weeds. Just as I am getting this post ready, I realized I forgot to plant Swiss Chard this year.
Hmmmm... maybe I should go get some seeds.
Truckin' Man has been staying very busy with his new job.
It was certainly a change when he got pulled out of driving Peterbilt.
Now he is in the 2nd biggest truck the company has. A Mack.
Isn't Hazel cute when she climbs on equipment? Truckin' Man does NOT agree with me.
The new Iris I planted last year. Butter & Sugar. I am so excited to see this in full bloom.
The Iris we just transplanted from my parents.
I love the darker colors.
The common Iris color.
Finally established and in full bloom.
Crops are in and doing well.
Only a couple acre patch left to plant that weather is not cooperating with.
Looking good! I think I saw my first tomato coming through and our peas are finally getting tall!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks healthy and beautiful! What a cool pic of that Mack! Lovely flowers too :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good start to spring/summer on the farm. I thought Hazel was adorable on the equipment. The name of your new Iris is neat, can't wait to see it open. Mine have already bloomed. - Lots of flowers growing here, we don't plant a garden.
ReplyDeleteLooks like lots of WORK!!! I am only able to grow some herbs and tomatoes...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Everything looks great! You have been working hard.
ReplyDeleteHazel looks so big! Do you know how much she weighs?
I love the photo of the Mack! And the last photo is really cool.
