Our New Family Member

Yum

We decided it was time to add a new member to our family. Please say hi to "Mr. C."!

We thought Queen of the Farm needed a friend. Someone that would run and play with her.

An run, and play they do! They have become the best of friends more easily than we had hoped.

Mr. C. has been learning the ropes and getting along with everyone. He accidentally got locked in the chicken coop yesterday, and while he gobbled up all the chicken feed, not a feather was hurt on a single chicken. Good boy, Mr. C.!

  5. Awww! Congrats on your new family member! He's adorable 😍 They both look like they have boxer in them? When my husband and I lived in Portland, one of our couple friends had 2 boxers and sometimes we would meet them at the dog park. This was back when we had our pug and our bigger chihuahua. Anyone, their male boxer would follow our chihuahua around the dog park and chase off any dog that tried to intimidate him! It was the sweetest thing in the world, the memory always makes me smile. Dogs are just the best. I just know Mr. C is going to have an awesome farm life, I'm so proud of him for not hurting any chickens 😃

    1. Queen of the Farm is a pure American Bulldog. Mr.C., we aren' completely sure on. We do highly suspect he has some boxer, as well as bulldog. Your friends boxer sounds so cool! What a great protector! I love all that I am learning about the boxer personalities!
Me too on the chickens! It's always a nail biter until you know that all is going to be ok!

    1. Yes, I agree with a farm being a necessity for two dogs! I would go nuts if they didn't have this wide open space to run.

  12. Great job Mr. C....chickens all safe and sound. My mom keeps telling me that my 10 yr rat terrier needs a playmate. He goes to her house to play with her dogs a lot but the days he don't he looks so bored.
