The Day it Snowed

Yum
This season has been minimal on snowfall so far. Even though we have little snow covering now.
Once in a while it does snow.

I am always excited to see what the animals and chickens think of the first snow.
So, the chicken coop is my first stop.

Pretty view, isn't it?

Lil' Miss Australorp wasn't having anything to do with that white stuff.

Nope, that's as far as they went. No further than the little door.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Beautiful! We had snow about 2 weeks ago, but now the temp. goes up to 13C...unbelievably warm this winter and there's no hope for a white X'mas this year :-((

  2. Poor chickens. I know how they feel. I wouldn't step out the door if I didn't have to either! I love seeing the snow, but am not a fan of driving in it or going in the cold for that matter!

  3. Beautiful pictures! Love the shots of the ladies really not wanting much to do with all that fluffy white! I can't blame her! We haven't had any yet - it was 55 degrees here yesterday, crazy!
