Spring Fever

Yum
The weather has really been so nice. I can't get much done outside, but I can go for a walk.
I can check on my feather friends, and see what they are up to.

Lil' Miss laying an egg.
Lot of egg laying going on around here.

I had to take a walk to find everyone else. They had followed Truckin' Man further away from the buildings.
Lil' Miss Goldie always comes running when she see's us.

Lil' Man or Lil' Mister.

No matter what you call him, he is little and he is in charge.

He watches over his flock dutifully.

He's never far away.

  1. Kris, I just love farm photos! I sometimes dream of being on a farm. I know I'd enjoy my own homegrown eggs on one of my Waterford blaas for breakfast and in egg and dill tea sandwiches for afternoon tea.

  4. I love all the pictures of your chickens! I've wanted chickens for awhile, but our property needs to be cleared, fenced, a coop needs to be built, etc. Someday though! They are darling :-)

    1. No, carrying him is not allowed. The only time you can touch him is when he perches at night.

  8. I love your chickens, Kris. As you know, it is a dream of mine to have a teeny tiny little farm, enough to have some chickens. There is nothing better than fresh eggs! You are so lucky!
